The company "Doolin's Restorations" was formed in 1978 in Toronto Canada. The company repaired and undertook complete rebuilds and restorations on Automobiles. Later branching out into American and other European Automobiles. The company had a full painting and body repairing facility along with a full workshop. Employing both Mechanics, Bodymen and Office staff. The company was downscaled in the early 90's and the company "Dr Doolin Production's" was formed.

The reason for the forming of "Dr Doolin Production's" was the production of a "How-To" video by James Doolin. The subject of the Video was rebuilding an MGB engine. This was done over ten years ago. Long enough that James has hair in the video. James had taken an interest in video production for quite a number of years before, that resulted in the engine video being produced.

An interest was also developed in web pages, HTML, then Lingo (this resulted in a CD for TR6 service, now being posted on the site) Javascript, XML, and lately PHP. All this contributed to the loss of hair. That and teaching Apprentice Mechanics and Bodymen for the past five years in a local college.
